Participate in a fun and friendly no-check pick-up game without the
commitment of a league.
Sessions are limited to 30 players and locker and shower
facilities are available. Full equipment (single blade hockey skates, HECC
approved helmet, shin pads & hockey socks, elbow & shoulder pads, hockey
gloves and hockey pants) is required.

Join FMC Ice Sports in our 2nd Annual Cradles to Crayons / Boston Bruins PJ
Drive and DJ Public Skate Event! Rock out on the ice as our live, ice-side DJ
spins today's hottest hits. Guests who donate a pair of new, children's pajamas
for kids ages 0-12 will receive a free
public skate pass for a future visit. All donations go to benefit Cradles to
Crayons, a non-profit charity organization committed to providing the
necessities to deserving children. Please note the general admission for Greenfield is $6.

Try out your wheelchair, an ice sled, or conventional skates on the ice. Spin,
slide, race, socialize, and play gently competitive games with others. Ice sleds
will be available for sled hockey and agility games. Conventional skate rentals
also will be available. Power wheelchair users are welcome to come out on the
ice with their wheels.
This event is hosted by the Department of Conservation and Recreation. Please

Lights-Out DJ Skate Night

We turn the lights down and the music up every Friday night at Armstrong Arena, Buffone
Arena and Collins/Moylan Arena* and every Saturday Night at Gardner Veteran's
Arena for the ultimate public skate session, Lights-Out DJ Skate! Bring your
friends and request today's top hits as our live, ice-side DJ entertains you.
Glow-in-the-dark necklaces are encouraged! Please note the general admission for
Greenfield is $6.

Skater's Responsibility Code
Foul, abusive or obscene language is not permitted anywhere in the building or on the grounds.
All visitors must show respect and courtesy to others regardless of race, gender, creed or ability while in the facility or grounds.
All visitors should encourage good sportsmanship by refraining from expressing negative or insulting statements to the officials, coaches, participants or spectators.
Physical force by players (not in the normal course of game play), coaches, parents, spectators or officials is strictly forbidden under any and all circumstances.
All coaches must supervise and take responsibility for the players inside the team changing rooms they are issued.
All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and be supervised when not participating in skating or hockey.
No play (hockey, catch, etc.) is allowed off the ice surface.
Use of skateboards, roller blades and “Heelys” are not allowed.
All visitors must respect the facility and report any person or persons damaging the property to the management.
Visitors should keep in mind that this arena is a public resource and a place for fun and personal development for all ages and abilities; please assist in preserving a positive environment for all other visitors by honoring this Code of Conduct and reporting to the rink management any violations of it.
The arena management and staff will enforce this Code of Conduct for all visitors of the arena. Loss of rink privileges, fines and/or criminal prosecution will be imposed as necessary.
