About Learn to Skate
Welcome to the first step of the FMC Ice Sports group program progression. Each Learn to Skate level is designed to teach a specific set of skills geared toward basic movement, coordination and balance on the ice. It is important that the level progression is followed and for skaters to demonstrate skills efficiently to staff before advancing. Instructors will evaluate students and give progress reports to skaters at the end of each season.
Learn to Skate

All beginner hockey players MUST take and pass a Learn to Skate course before progressing to Bruins FUNdamentals
Beginner Hockey School.

- Ages 3-6 (Tot) and 7-12 (Youth)
- Four progressive skill levels
- 40 minute classes
- Includes group lesson and supervised play time/practice
