Program Introduction

The FMC Ice Sports Fundraising Program is a cooperative offering of ice hockey programs between our ice arenas and local youth ice hockey organizations. FMC organizes and operates the programs while calling upon the assistance and experience of the organization to distribute the information to parents, players and coaches in their communities.

For every participant or team that registers from your organization, FMC will donate a minimum of $10 to your organization. There is no limit, so the more participants you recruit, the more incentive dollars you can accrue through this partnership program.

Beginner Hockey School
The Bruins FUNdamentals program was initiated by FMC Ice Sports and the Boston Bruins as a way to introduce beginner skaters to the sport and help them prepare for entry into youth and organized hockey programs. The program’s goal is to teach the FUNdamentals of ice hockey through various drills, personalized instruction, and game simulation, while ensuring that each and every skater is having as much fun as possible. The Bruins FUNdamentals program is comprised of two-8 week sessions held in the spring and summer.

Rapid Fire 3 on 3 Spring Hockey Leagues
Rapid Fire 3 on 3 Hockey is the ultimate fast-paced game with up and down action that will help players to stay in peak condition and hone their offensive and defensive skills during the off-season. The games are played on the full ice rink with 3 skaters a side and a goalie. The full ice format provides breakaways and rushes that will challenge the abilities and improve the full ice vision of participants. Our Rapid Fire 3-on-3 league, begins play April 17th and is open to Squirts, Peewees and Bantams of all skill levels.

           Youth Hockey Leagues
Spring/Summer ice hockey is a great way to stay in shape, have fun and get ready for the upcoming season. We feature 10-game, full team leagues
at our Springfield, Franklin, Marlboro, Natick, West Roxbury and Plymouth facilities. The commitment is minimal with one game per week. This is a
great opportunity to get next year’s team together or just to gather a group of friends for a fun summer of hockey. The leagues begin play April
22nd in Springfield and June 14th at all other locations. The leagues are open to players of all skill levels, Mites through Midgets.

Total Skills and Powerskating
For players looking to enhance their skill development, our Total Skills and Powerskating clinics are a perfect option. Meeting once a week for 50 minutes at a time, players will work on their individual skills and skating techniques. We provide professional instruction from coaches who have years of experience and bring a positive attitude to the ice each and every day. The clinics are split into two different 8-week sessions and will be featured at 5 different locations for the upcoming Spring and Summer seasons.
